Sylvie Meis is engaged

I hear wedding bells! Yehess, Miss Meis is wearing a huge ring on her finger again. Last night she shared the picture with the accompanying text ‘Yes. #isaidyes’ (she added that hashtag because the word ‘Yes’ apparently wasn't clear enough) on her Instagram account to let everyone know that her boyfriend Charbel Aouad has proposed to her. I must honestly admit: my Hollywood sleaze is usually quite on point, but with the Dutch celebrities not so much, as I had no idea that Sylvie had a lover for a year and a half.

 
It also makes sense, because during my scrolling through her Instagram account, I didn't come across him either. Lots of pictures of Miss Meis in Dubai, where her fiancé lives, but no sign of Charbel. So now they are both engaged and officially together. And that Charbel, he ain’t all that bad. He followed a university education in London, then went to Harvard, and if you want to know what he does now (his bank account balance has quite a few zeros): he runs a company that recycles urine and flush water. So water-saving sewage systems, sounds a bit fancier.

Double congratulations by the way, Syl. Engaged and having a birthday. If you are still looking for a cake...
