Netherlands in the top 10 of the fittest countries
Hey friend, on this sunny Monday I have some exciting news for you. We are all doing a damn good job. A job of being healthy, I must say. Our little frog country is actually in the top FIVE of the healthiest countries in the world. Okay, I must add that the research was conducted among all my fellow Fitbit addicts. If you don't have one yet, read our suggestions here)? I'm meanwhile scrolling through the first of the Monate like an addict through Elkes Nieuwsflix, but nothing, zip, nada. Even Netflix is acting suspicious... Quiet then. I want a sequel to my favorite and I want it now. But with a chronic shortage and the absence of rattling conversations, then let me tell you why you should change that. Fitbit users from the Netherlands are ranked fourth among the fittest in the world. Unfortunately, we lag a bit behind our southern neighbors; Spain scores a whopping 1000 steps more per day. But yes, fair is fair, when the sun is shining in the sky, I naturally walk a few more meters too.
In the category of ‘most qualitative sleep’, Dutch Fitbit users occupy the second place with an average of 7 hours, 13 minutes, and 30 seconds of sleep per night. The United Kingdom is the leader with an average of 7 hours, 14 minutes, and 44 seconds. The Hungarians, on the other hand, sleep the least with 6 hours, 52 minutes, and 37 seconds per night. And enough sleep is almost as important as sufficient exercise. It plays a crucial role in recovery, but also protects against heart and vascular diseases, diabetes, and obesity. But well, you already knew that, of course.
And now you are naturally curious about the whole top ten fittest countries:
- Ireland
- United Kingdom
- Sweden
- Netherlands
- Switzerland
- Denmark
- Spain
- Finland
- Germany
- New Zealand
Another reason to take a walk tonight around the block…
