Carolien has a new baby

Like two little kids, May and I stood at the door of our all-time favorite store. With sweat on my hands, we entered designer paradise Chanel and immediately my eyes darted from left to right: everywhere there were little jewels presented in the form of bags, jewelry, and shoes. Now I could easily spend the amount of a mid-range car here, but saving for months (actually years) for one bag masterpiece is much more fun than those people who without a second thought have four bags wrapped up. I think Jon should find a spot on the couch tonight so this new ‘baby’ can lie next to me, haha!

My sister and I have one shared love (besides Otis) and that is a day at the amusement park! Together with my girlfriends, we took my sister as a surprise to the Efteling, where I hadn't been in years. The parking lot was fully packed, so I feared the worst... But luckily the lines were enormous too! Otis was also with us and fortunately, he had a great time: the Fairytale Forest is an absolute must for little ones and he was crazy about the ‘Carnival Festival’. Our absolute favorite: Baron 1898. I can't wait until Otis is a bit older and can fully enjoy it!

Soon it will be here: we will perform as Female Rappers at Lowlands! I am so childishly excited, man oh man. But besides our own performance we will of course also enjoy the festival ourselves. And of course, there is an important question to consider: what will be my ultimate festival outfit? They predict (for now) a dry weekend, so the Hunters can stay at home. This cheerful outfit from Scotch & Soda is already ready!

Every now and then, there’s an advertorial on Facebook that triggers me, like this one: a video of a black face mask that you ‘pull’ off with a brush! Thanks to the magnetic effect, the mask is drawn to a special brush and you can easily remove it from your face. This invention turns out, how could it be otherwise, to be of Korean origin and once again I have found a reason to travel there. I think I will go completely crazy in the beauty department there! For now, the ‘Onyx Youth Magnet Mask’ is not available in the Netherlands, so there's nothing else to do but order online.
