The honeymoon period is over for Harry and Meghan
Six weeks, around, that is the timeframe that stands for your honeymoon weeks. For Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan, they have just passed, and according to the English press, it is immediately noticeable.
Affection in public is rare among royals. The Queen doesn't do it, Will and Kate are rarely spotted being affectionate, but with newlyweds Harry and Meghan, it seemed to be different. They arrived hand in hand everywhere, chatting a bit, hand on the arm here, hand on the knee there, even though it was completely against royal policy. Until now. At the Young Leaders Reception at Buckingham Palace, the camera just caught Meghan attempting to grab Harry's hand, but he quickly pulled his away. All the Brits are in an uproar, of course, because there must be something ‘going on’. One says it would be a sign that they are heading towards tradition, or maybe there are troubles, says another.
I attribute it to clammy hands. Hello, even in cold and chilly England, the barometer is heading towards thirty. Harry is not made for that at all, and then he also has to show up in a suit. I get overheated just thinking about a suit. So see it this way: he has just spared his wife from the horror of the heat: a sweaty hand.
