Elite is back and you want to see the trailer

Elite netflix series

Since the particularly good news that Gossip Girl is getting a reboot (I still can't believe it), I'm totally back into the high school drama. Your one and only source to the scandalous lives of Manhattan’s elite. Well, and that elite is of course not limited to New York City. You also have them in Spain, where our popular rich kids go to Las Encinas. That is the most exclusive private school in Spain where the series Élite takes place. Now I'm also completely up to date with La Casa de Papel, so that Spanish is also totally my thing. Muy bien.

Okay, it also came as a positive point that the first season of Élite was very binge-worthy. It actually had all the ingredients: love, drama, school uniforms (which is kind of part of it) and a murder. After the first episode, we found out that from the elite group it was Marina who was brutally murdered. The big question, of course, is who could have done that – no worries, I'm not going to spoil that for you, in case you haven't seen season 1 yet.

That this murder will have quite a significant aftermath in season 2 is at least clear. Certain people want to shift the blame onto others, others don't even know the truth yet, and someone is left heartbroken. Ah, drama, drama, drama. Exciting. The cast is also back, except probably Marina because yes, that’s going to be a bit tricky and you can't keep repeating those flashbacks forever. It's nice that the rest is back, as three actors as we speak are also making waves in La Casa de Papel. Speaking of a big break.

The trailer they released is actually more of a teaser but okay, they are forgiven. In any case, we see the familiar faces back and know that September 6 is the date when the luxury ponies will be back on Netflix. I don't know, no matter how much I enjoy all these high school series, my high school days pale in comparison. No murders, no school uniforms, and the biggest drama was when the lunch special in the cafeteria was gone. Or your crush who hadn't been online on MSN for days. That ugly photo where you were spotted on Hyves. That kind of stuff. Luckily, there's Netflix.
