This is the date you can start seeing Farmer's Wife again

The ELEVENTH season. 11! That’s eleven times ten farmers, which makes 110 fun, funny, single farmers from Dutch soil, if I may believe Yvon Jaspers, who let themselves be matched with love by the public broadcaster. And they are eager to start, because on September 1st that eleventh season begins.

“Familiar time, familiar place,” announces Yvon on Facebook. Now I know that Farmer Seeks Wife it’s on Sunday, but I googled the time just to be sure. If you, like me, think about the eleventh season: I should really check it out: you need to tune in to NPO1 at 20:30 to see the introduction round of the new farmers.

Now my farmer's mind doesn’t go further than Tom, because he’s so busy gardening in Eigen Huis & Tuin. I also caught a glimpse of the somewhat randy farmer Geert, thanks to Edwin Evers' character. Of course we know be Bertie., because hello: the ultimate Robinson of all time. But that’s about it. But what could Yvon's secret be?

Good news for the fans, because the single population is increasing in the Netherlands, so probably among the farmers as well. The bad news is that the number of farms is decreasing. But as long as there is growth, the balance remains in order and thank goodness we have Yvon Jaspers for some much-needed farmer love.

P.S.: I just read something about bakers going extinct, maybe an idea?
