What you want to know about the first candidates of Expedition Robinson
The first four ExRobbesnobbers have been officially announced. At RTL Boulevard, the participants were revealed, and ExRob just released a video via Instagram that allows us to dare to mention the fifth, but of course, you want to know more about them. Just in: Kalvijn
Officially, his name is Kelvin Boerma, but YouTuber Kalvijn also seems to be making his entrance at Expeditie. If we analyze the Expeditie Robinson video a bit better. At 23 years old, he's a young one, but surely a crowd-pleaser. His online followers even have a name: the Kalfam. Kelvin wrote a book ‘Van Niks Naar Clicks‘, has 1,149,574 subscribers on YouTube, and a nice face. He seems to have a rather obsessive relationship with bell peppers, which became his trademark. Onnedi a.k.a. Dionne Slagter
To be honest, I don't know her, but the rest of the world apparently does because she has 542,000 followers on Instagram and (holy moly) 835,000 subscribers on YouTube. Dionne is 28 years old, originally from Woerden, and besides vlogging and influencing, she sings and acts. She won It Takes 2 and appeared in the movie Kappen! and the series SpangaS. I think this woman is going to stir things up on the island.
Frank van der Lende
Radio DJ at 3FM, 30 years old, born in Uithoorn, owner of long locks and apparently a long list. Frank came in through BNN University and joined Coen and Sander. When they took the commercial step to 538, there was room for Frank with his De Bende van Van der Lende. They also call him ‘Hoitjeeees’ in the hallways because this is his standard greeting at the beginning of the show. Well, hoitjes, right, Frank.
Anita Heilker
RTL has conjured up a lovely Dolly Dot. Anita is 59 (and will turn 60 on Animal Day), just so you know. You might have seen her last year in De slechtste chauffeur van Nederland VIPS. It's nice that there are no vehicles to drive on the island. Oh, if you have or get the hots for Anita: she seems to be on Tinder after her breakup with her 28 years younger boyfriend. Says Story.
Jaap van Deurzen
Ah, that Jaap. I find him a bit of the teddy bear of RTL. Jaap was at the start of RTLNieuws in ’89, so Dionne isn't even that old indeed, and retired in 2018. He covered crises and disasters worldwide, including in the Middle East, the severe attack by Anders Breivik in Norway, and the tsunami in Japan. Although he can't completely let go of reporting, as he still does the occasional report for the channel. Very curious how he will report from the wooden hut with a chain. Can't wait, can't wait.
