Cancel all your plans for tomorrow because Sex Education season 2 is coming out

YAAAS, finally. I've been waiting so long for this. My absolute favorite (is that a word?) series is back. And it was about time, I must say. Because it's exactly a year ago that season 1 came out, which was an enormous hit in no time. Earlier, I wrote about series and/or movies that suddenly appeared without too much announcement, but that everyone was talking about (hi When They See Us and hi Spinning Out). Well, that was Sex Education for me too. When I was asked if I had started the series yet (‘no, I haven't even heard of it yet’) and the plot was explained, I actually thought I would skip this one. But after a dreary Sunday where I was bored, I decided to give the first episode a chance. I. Was. Hooked. This series is so funny and refreshing, and I don't believe I took longer than two days to finish the first season. It had to be done.
Yes, and then the waiting begins. Because it wasn't exactly a surprise that the second season would come. But wow, Netflix, making everyone wait a year is a bit much, I think. But well, that wait is over. TOMORROW. Tomorrow is the day we can binge again. Need a refresher? I get it. The season literally ended with a bang, because Otis had his first orgasm. Nice, right? His sexual awakening was all thanks to Maeve, who didn't seem to reciprocate his feelings and harshly banished him to the friendzone. Ouch. Luckily, there was Ola, who did see something exciting in Otis. A happily ever after?. Well, not quite. Maeve had a change of heart, but she was too late — the season ended with her rushing to Otis to declare her love, only to see Otis making out with Ola. Yes, high school love isn't easy, huh. Quite a cliffhanger we were left with (again, Netflix: making us wait a YEAR?), but starting tomorrow we will know how this continues. My prediction is, sorry for her, that Ola will end up with the short end of the stick. Otis has been in love with Maeve for so long, so when he hears that it's finally mutual... I think: goodbye, Ola. But that's not the only problem at Moordale Secondary: they are dealing with a significant chlamydia outbreak. Woops. Totally awkward because Otis has decided to stop giving sex advice and now the whole school is in a frenzy, because what now? Does bleach work on your vagina? What to do if your discharge tastes bad? These kinds of questions remain unanswered for Otis' classmates, which obviously leads to blind panic and chaos.
Better news for Eric: he seems to find his love in a new French student, who the girls are also quite wild about. Adam (who had such a big dick that it hindered him in his sex life) is being drilled in the military training where he doesn't seem to fit in. And as a cherry on top, the moment arrives: Otis is about to lose his virginity to Ola. Or well, that's the plan. They are interrupted by both their parents who suddenly jump into bed together. And so Ola is now kind of his stepsister. Even more chaos. ARE. WE. READY for tomorrow?.
