Season 7 of MAFS is nothing but mismatches

I can't believe this, man. Season seven of Married At First Sight Australia is almost over and what am I supposed to do with my life? Tonight the new lockdown starts again and that is honestly the worst timing to have finished all your guilty pleasures. No Love Island, none MAFS, none Emily in Paris… And Temptation Island doesn't start until the end of November. WHUT. Now it means I actually have to start looking for hobbies.
But don't be sad, after more than 30 episodes I have also become attached to all the participants of the seventh season. Although I still had more with the participants of season six, I fear. Why is that? Because literally everyone in the sixth season was mismatched. But really.
In season six we had Mike and Heidi. Cyrell and Nic. Jess and Dan. And those last two may be two wet rags, but they really liked each other. Ines was a witch, but she did fall in love with Sam. Who wasn't originally her husband, but okay. He was completely mismatched with Lizzie. But this season is full of marriages that have no chance of success.
I find both Mishel and Connie so sweet and they really deserve a nice guy, and then they get matched with… This? Especially Steve is just really not a nice guy. Interesting detail: Mishel said after the recordings that she suspects Steve is into men. Not because he constantly rejected her, but she claims to have heard this from reliable sources. Hmmm. And at first glance, Connie and Jonethen seemed like a good match, looks-wise, but that was really torture too. A bit Connie's own fault, though — who writes ‘Stay’ THREE times while he wants to leave already? Jess did that with Mick and it was basically just torture.
And then that terribly intense Hayley, who is only there for her temperament. Ivan is such a strange guy that I wonder if he even has sexual feelings, but the producers could have guessed beforehand that there would be no chemistry with Aleks. And you know you haven't done very well if Stacey and Michael are the couple that are the happiest with each other. Off topic for a moment, but I really enjoyed Hayley's snarky quote; ‘where’d you get your law degree? Out of a cereal box?’ HAHA.
Okay, Lizzie and Seb are still together (SPOILER: as the only ones), but they only joined at the end of the experiment… So I don't really count them. And maybe it's just me, but I find all the participants a bit wallflowers? Poppy, Vanessa, Natasha… I barely remember them. And who is Chris again, and David?
Fortunately, we will most likely get an All Star Edition (So. Much. Looking. Forward. To.) and Mikey from this season has already said he would participate. I secretly liked him. And how wonderful is it to complain about these kinds of shows? I really need a new guilty pleasure.
