This will probably be the worst movie on Netflix ever Volcano Man netflix

What. Is. This? Sorry, but I'm a bit taken aback here. Netflix has produced some odd things before, but usually, they just fall into the category of ‘how bad’ it is. Yes, I'm currently watching The Knight Before Christmas, but especially Falling Inn Love. So bad that it almost wasn't fun bad anymore. That's quite an achievement, of course. But what kind of trailer have they released now... I don't even know what category this falls into, to be honest.

Here's the thing: no Song Festival this year. We already knew that, of course (thanks, corona), but the Song Festival remains a concept. And Netflix understood that too, seeing a gap in the market and voilà: a new movie was born. It's called Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga, and that's quite a mouthful, but just wait until you see the trailer. Then you won't even know what's going on.

When I look at the two main actors, there's nothing wrong so far: Will Ferrell and Since Rachel played with Ryan Gosling in The Notebook and they also started dating in real life, they are still the perfect couple. That Ryan is also quite perfecto with Eva Mendes, we’ll just forget for a moment; I will always remain team Ryan & Rachel. Well, what’s extra fun is that Rachel also comes from London, Ontario! Have you ever. I keep hoping for a reconciliation.. Both pretty big names, they wouldn't lend themselves to something hopeless, right? Okay, Will Ferrell can be a bit of a weirdo here and there, but still... They play two Icelandic musicians who get the chance to represent their country at the Song Festival. And they both really want to.

What we see in the trailer is the song with which they want to win. And that song, guys. THAT SONG. What is this? What is that voice of Rachel McAdams? That panting (yes, PANTING) from Will Ferrell. Why do I find this song oddly catchy? The whole clip too, everything is so extra, so exaggerated, and so hysterical.

The first time I watched that trailer, I really thought it was some vague gimmick. But it's just a full movie. And after my first glance at the trailer, I thought I would definitely skip this one. But then I watched it again. And again. I have become bizarrely fascinated by this movie. It's coming out on June 26, and I've seen that trailer so many times that I've actually become excited. Volcano maaaaaan, what a great song.
