Yesss, the first Christmas movie is in sight

The weather is just incredibly nice today and there is definitely some sunshine that makes you want to put on your sunglasses, but that doesn't matter at all. I can't wait to switch. To switch to the Christmas movies. Now you can watch those all year round, of course, but we already know the best ones by now., The worst ones too, by the way... But secretly, aren't the absolute worst and cheesiest Christmas movies the most enjoyable? The Knight Before Christmas it was really touch and go, or well, just over, but Netflix doesn't give up easily, of course.

Because they have announced the first Christmas movie and that is reason for a PARTY. The trailer is already out and I first blasted Last Christmas for a quarter of an hour, mixed with Mariah Carey, and then I was completely in the mood for that trailer. And yes, yes; it's a familiar face we are going to see again. It's actually a sequel. The Christmas Chronicles 2 is the very first Netflix movie we can expect in a Christmas theme and are you excited? HELL YES.

I find the first line of the trailer hilarious by the way: ‘We’re about to show you something you’ve never seen before.’ Really? You can't be serious in this theme because there is literally not one storyline left that hasn't been done in these kinds of movies. So yes, this will also be a movie cliché but that doesn't bother me (and probably you too) at all.

Now I must say that I have been a bit too loose with the word ‘trailer’ because it is actually a teaser and lasts a total of half a minute. But that's enough. Because we see the village where Santa Claus lives (or Kurt Russell), where the kids from part one go to visit. In part one, they hitch a ride with Santa Claus and his reindeer, after which all the presents get lost (panic). In the end, of course, everything turns out fine and everyone has a nice Christmas.

I honestly wouldn't know what this plot is about besides the fact that they are in the village of Santa Claus and that's really all we need to know, right? Santa Claus is cooooming, to tooohooown. Just a little longer to wait, because if we are to believe the rumors, it comes out on November 25.
