J.Lo recreates iconic clip from 20 years ago
You don't have to worry, J.Lo is still just Jenny from the Block. Aside from all the rocks that she’s got, of course. I remember so well that I bought her very first album On The 6 (which I thought was a lot of money back then) and it was already full of hits (I mention Waiting For Tonight); the album after that is of course the real banger.
That's called J.Lo and there we find the songs I’m Real (featuring the then-popular Ja Rule), Play, Ain’t It Funny (still my favorite) and Love Don’t Cost A Thing. And that last one, well, that is J.Lo at its best. That clip. THAT CLIP. Seriously, watch that again. You know, I'll save you the trouble, here it is already.
That bracelet. That outfit. Those extensions. That necklace as a belt. That mobile phone. It's so delightful and obviously 20 years ago. But just in case you were wondering: you still won't make J.Lo happy with jewelry or other expensive things. She is still convinced of the idea that ‘love doesn't cost a thing’. To emphasize that, she redoes the clip of Love Don’t Cost A Thing on her Instagram. That this woman is just 51... Bi-zar, so beautiful.
