Khloé Kardashian strikes back on Instagram


Lately, it has been quite a difficult relationship between Khloé and Instagram. To be a bit more specific: between Khloé and her Instagram followers. It was already not very stable because Khloé was often called out for her Photoshop fails, it completely fell apart when her ‘assistant’ posted a photo of Khloé in a bikini that – horror of horrors – was not edited. I indeed put assistant in quotation marks because it turned out that MJ (the mother of Kris Jenner and thus Khloé's grandmother) had posted the photo. Well, grandparents with Instagram... It remains a tricky combination.

That photo had to be removed from the entire internet as quickly as possible removed (with threats of lawsuits to add some extra pressure and urgency), which resulted in the photo getting even more attention and Khloé receiving even more criticism. Because fans wondered: what is wrong with this photo? Why is it so bad to show your ‘real’ body? And isn't that exactly what you want to convey to your followers?

No, indeed. And from that moment on, it seems Khloé can't do much right anymore. Just like with her latest photo, where many comments can be read like ‘this is what insecurity looks like’. And on exactly such a comment, she decided to respond with: ‘Baby girl, you have to take a look in the mirror. Only insecure people tear other people down.’

Hmm, I find it hard to gauge whether she means this as a nice response or if it's a bit of a sly slap back. It seems really exhausting to receive criticism with every photo you post and every step you take. Because it seems like Khloé really can't do anything right anymore. Comments under photos ‘if she has a new face again’ are more the rule than the exception.

But on the other hand, playing devil's advocate here: why can't she just be herself on Instagram for once? With the millions of reach she has, she could actually be a really good role model instead of posting all these heavily photoshopped pictures. But ultimately, a Kardashian member also just has to do what makes him or her happy.

Then I only have one question left... How uncomfortable is this suit? How do you go to the toilet? How do her mega-long fake nails not tear through her fingers? And especially: how do you unlock your phone?
