See: trailer Look Both Ways with Lili Reinhart

With Riverdale, I have really stopped now, because I totally didn't understand what was happening there at all. Flying babies were still somewhat acceptable, but I happened to read last week what is going on now, and that is even worse. All the characters suddenly have paranormal powers? Of course, why not. By now, I have the impression that the actors themselves are a bit fed up with it too, especially since there are nice projects outside the series coming their way.

And especially for Lili Reinhart, who already shone next to J.Lo in the movie Hustlers. Camila Mendes is also doing well; she has already appeared in several Netflix movies. And that is exactly the route Lili is taking now: her first Netflix movie is almost a fact. It will be online on August 17 and the trailer has just dropped.

Look Both Ways is the name of the movie, in which she plays Natalie. On the night she graduates, she faces a problem: she is afraid she is pregnant by Gabe, a friend of hers. She takes a test and thank goodness: it is negative. Natalie goes for her dream career, moves to LA, and she lives happily ever after. Or maybe not?

I think Look Both Ways is a nice concept, because we also follow Natalie if things went a little differently: what if this test was positive, she moved back to Austin, Texas (where she grew up), and became a devoted mother to her child? Is it still ‘and she lived happily ever after’? Or maybe even happier?

In short, a delightful romcom (or honestly a ‘romcom-dramedy’, because I think there will definitely be tears here) that we certainly don't want to miss. May Riverdale end quickly (the last season has finally been announced and then it's over), because we want to see Lili, Camila, KJ Apa, and Cole Sprouse in other projects. Romcoms are definitely more my thing than flying babies, vague paranormal powers, and a continuous feud with the Ghoulies, Serpents, or whoever the gang of the season is now.
