Series on Jeffrey Dahmer gets ‘sequel’

The true crime hype is far from over, that has been proven. The Netflix hit Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story was immediately a huge success and that naturally leaves us wanting more. Yes: the series is getting a ‘sequel’. But with two separate stories; it is actually the series Monster that is getting a sequel. So we can expect another season à la Jeffrey Dahmer. That season will also have multiple episodes and will revolve around a true story.

Yess, that will be enjoyable, it can't be otherwise. It is just not yet known which two ‘monsters’ will be central in the upcoming seasons. Personally, I hope for Joseph DeAngelo, also known as the East Area Rapist, Golden State Killer, and Visalia Ransacker. You read that right: this guy had no less than three nicknames before he was finally caught a few years ago. Ultimately, the DNA of a distant relative was enough to catch him after several decades. He is currently behind bars and will never come out; in 2020 he pleaded guilty to all charges. A bizarre fact is that he had children and a wife who knew nothing. Michelle McNamara (unfortunately now deceased) wrote a book about it, called I'll Be Gone In The Dark. Really a must-read. This DeAngelo is such a creep that Ryan McMurphy can definitely work with.

Well, we will have to wait a little longer to know this, but we at least have two very nice series to look forward to.
