Yesterday suddenly a message in our Amayzine app: ‘Never again ‘oant moarn’’. Piet Paulusma passed away due to the consequences of cancer. That no one knew about it was his own choice, Jan Slagter (director of Omroep Max) said: ‘He didn't want to make it public.’

It really is the end of an era. Since 1985, Piet Paulusma has been seen on TV with the weather (then still at Omroep Fryslân) and he really grew into an icon when it comes to presenting the weather report. In fact, I dare say he was the most famous weatherman in the country. And also the funniest, by the way. To emphasize that, I have compiled the funniest moments of Piet Paulusma.
