The Kardashians are back

I have seriously been looking forward to this: the Kardashians are finally back on TV. New channel, but actually the same format. The first episode has been available on Disney+ since today, and that's very good news for us, because previously there wasn't really a streaming service where we could catch the episode right away. You can imagine I was right there and watched that first episode immediately. Curious if you missed anything? Let me tell you the highlights.
It's quite strange, by the way — but logical — that we already know what is going to happen next, because during the first episode, Kim announces she will be hosting Saturday Night Live (and asks the brilliant question of what day it actually is), Kylie is still pregnant, and no one knows yet what the gender will be. By now, we obviously know it's a boy and he has not only been given the name Wolf, but that has also already been taken back. How the Baby Formerly Known As Wolf is now called is still a big mystery.
Kourtney and Travis are seen as a loving couple, and I really have to say; I find that Travis such a weirdo. Sure, Scott cheated and had an addiction problem, but I really find him ten thousand times more likable than this new addition. Fortunately, Scott is back in this series and even indicates he is ready for a serious relationship, with someone older than his exes were. I was almost ready to jump for joy, but unfortunately: he meant someone over twenty and ab-so-lutely not over thirty.
What I really don't understand is the fact that Tristan ‘Trashcan’ Thompson is also seen in the series. This man can actually do very little besides cheating, so why the whole family is still nice to him is a mystery to me. Now it turns out that he has fathered a child with his personal trainer, so that will cause a lot more drama in the coming time. Poor Khloé.
It's hilarious that Kim at the beginning of the episode says she is vegan 98 percent of the time, before she serves herself a plate full of chicken wings and fries. The rest of the episode we see her ordering burgers and onion rings with mayonnaise. Love Kim.
And last but certainly not least: Kim's son Saint was on Roblox when he saw a photo of his mother (the iconic crying face of Kim) with the text that a new sex tape of her and Ray J. would be released. Well, that was obviously not exactly what Kim was waiting for and then we were immediately treated to a crying face again. And of course a lot of threats with lawyers. Rightfully so.
All in all, a bit of a tame first episode, but the rest of the season looks great: Kourtney being proposed to, a lot of Scott (and drama), drama surrounding Kanye and Kim's divorce, and Tristan's baby scandal. They’re back, baby.
