6 x this is what it means when you change your profile picture
It is the thermometer of your life after all

There are months, years that I don't look at my profile picture. I sometimes forget it too. And then there comes a moment when it needs to be updated. When I feel intense love for my family, or when I want to have my daughter with extra care needs even closer to me. A profile picture is a bit like the thermometer of someone's life. Recently, I saw that our babysitter had changed the photo with her boyfriend into a mirror selfie. Then I know: that won't last long.
1. Cheating or having an affair
If you suddenly see a very well-taken selfie with luscious lips and a challenging look from a sleepy schoolyard mom, then you might as well bet all your savings, because she's snacking outside the door. Especially if bikini pictures are added. Sorry, it doesn't sound emancipated, but when it comes to the profile picture going from 0 to 100, I know enough.
2. A new job
Or looking for a new job. You suddenly view everything you do through the eyes of a potential new employer and unconsciously adjust your profile picture a bit to that. It could very well be that you replace that snapshot of your little one in the sandbox with a cool photo of you behind a desk; just because that comes across as a bit more businesslike.
3. One of your parents has passed away
Or you have pain or sadness. You will definitely honor that loved one with a profile picture spot, preferably with a nice photo of you together. Because you want to have that person as close as possible to you and because you also want everyone to feel you and support you where possible.
4. You have a new love
That can also be a new child. An event so big calls for a prominent position.
5. A rare good photo of you has been taken
Doesn't happen every day, so hop hop, to the settings and save that thing.
