5 Actresses (and Ryan) who can sing bizarrely well

Sometimes life is just not fair. People who can eat anything and not gain a gram, for example. Not fair. Or Oscar-worthy actresses who can also sing Grammy-worthy. Some people just tapped a bit too eagerly from the fountain of talent. I heard Jennifer Aniston sing in The Morning Show, my latest addiction, and it was actually quite okay. Sure, vocal control is something you expect from an actor, but these actresses are just exceptionally multi-talented.

1. Reese Witherspoon
To stay on The Morning Show. Reese is not only an exceptional actress, she is also a gifted singer. Anyone who has seen Walk the Line knows that. But just check out or listen to Rosita's songs in Sing on Spotify and you'll know. Reese is small in stature but big in voice.

2. Scarlett Johansson
Another phenomenon. Just Google the character Ash in Sing and listen to Scarlett. Pretty okay, right?

3. Michelle Pfeiffer
One of my favorite songs is Makin‘ Whoopee, which Michelle sings in The Fabulous Baker Boys.

4. Anne Hathaway
If you can sing I Dreamed a Dream in Les Misérables, you are of course just as gifted a singer as an actress. Also check out this clip with Kelly Clarkson where the band starts a song and you have to climb on stage as quickly as possible to sing the song. The first person to recognize the song wins. On the third attempt, Kelly frustratedly calls out that the band needs to play a song she knows, and then Anne wins again. With a song by Kelly. Anyway, it's very funny and good too.

5. Renée Zellweger
Just listen to this. The woman can sing. And she's funny and nice.

6. Ryan Gosling
Can I just conclude with an ode to Ryan Gosling for his ‘I'm just Ken’ performance in the Barbie movie? Just amazing.
