From 2024 you can take a fast non-stop train to Berlin

I think it's great, the addition of all kinds of train journeys that await us. This way we can most likely from 2025 take the night train towards Barcelona and there's also a direct train to Copenhagen on the way. Personally, I find train travel much nicer than flying; I have a fear of flying and always have trouble with my ears, so just put me on such a train and you won't hear me complain. You also have internet, so you won't be bored for a second (yep, I'm addicted to my phone).

We can now add Berlin to that list, because from next year there will also be a direct train from Amsterdam. It will be faster than the current intercity, which now takes 6.5 hours, so that's still quite a bit.

From next year that will change, because some stops will be removed and there will no longer be a locomotive change at the border, which is still the case now. This means that from next year you will be in the German capital in less than six hours. FUN.

At least you don't have to worry about the price, because you can already book a one-way ticket from €38,- euros, on popular days it's €57,-. So that's still quite reasonable. I would say, happy booking.
