Starting April 15, we will have a new addiction, and fans of reality shows will definitely be very happy about this. Personally, I have already finished The Real Housewives, just like The Kardashians and Below Deck, so I could use a new addition in this category.

Now, this addition is not necessarily new, but it is appearing new on Netflix: the streaming service has acquired the rights to the English Made in Chelsea. Never heard of it? This show was broadcast on E4, a British channel, and has been around for a very long time: the first season dates back to 2011 and now season 24 is already out, along with some separate spin-offs. Yep, you read that right: we can really make some progress here.

The series revolves around young British people living in West London and in King’s Road, Chelsea, and Knightsbridge. If these places don’t mean much to you, the only thing you need to know is that these are about the most expensive places in all of England. The people in Made In Chelsea are therefore very, very rich. A kind of real-life Gossip Girl, but in England. In other words: exactly what we like.

We follow this group as they fly around the world to vacation in the Côte d’Azur, New York, Bali, Ibiza, and Buenos Aires, but we also see what their daily lives look like in their posh homes, with their posh friends, and in posh restaurants.

Netflix has indicated that at least one season will be available online, but the chances are high that it won’t stop there. Especially not if we all start watching.
