This is the diet that Beyoncé follows

Touring is a top sport, that's something I realized again since seeing The Eras Tour by Taylor Swift (in the cinema unfortunately, not in real life yet). And you have to be top and fit for that, which requires a lot of intense preparation. My goodness, the discipline you have to muster as an artist to maintain such a tour and deliver quality every night... So intense. Last summer I went to see Harry Styles and I was heavily impressed, but in terms of choreography, he made it â rightly so â very easy for himself. There wasn't any; he just danced the whole evening exactly how he wanted and did what he felt like.
No, then a tour like the Renaissance Tour by Beyoncé is quite a different story. She started that tour on May 10 of this year and ended it earlier this month, on October 1. How many shows did she do in that time? Hold on: 56.
Yep, you have to be top fit for that and Queen B. has her own way for that: the â22 Days Nutritionâ diet, created by Marco Borges. This diet, after years of use by BeyoncĂ©, is now known as the âBeyoncĂ© dietâ, but what does that actually entail? Let's dive into that, but I'll tell you in advance: it's insane and actually not sustainable.
To begin with, this diet is supposed to last 22 days, but Beyoncé did it double: for 44 days, during which she ate vegan. Now that's not so special, but don't cheer too early...
To start with, it's quite pricey: if you buy meals through the official site you pay over 600 dollars for 22 days (excluding shipping costs), which comes down to about 9.50 dollars per meal.
You eat three vegan meals a day (no snacks), and you probably guessed it: no alcohol allowed. You might think: that's doable, but the time it takes to prepare everything is actually not feasible for people who just have a job.
And the worst part: you have to exercise every day, which is quite tough if you're not getting many nutrients. Dietitians are also not enthusiastic about this diet: you're not getting enough and it requires a lot of preparation.
So sorry Queen B, but I'm going to skip this diet for now. Are you curious about what those 44 days look like? To prepare for Coachella back then, she made a vlog for us; take a look below.
