Flights to Lapland have never been as cheap as they are now

It has been on my bucket list for so long and I keep seeing signs that I just have to go there this year: Lapland. The Northern Lights are said to be stronger than they have been in twenty years, and that alone is already enough reason to go there as soon as possible. A few years ago, I was in beautiful Iceland and was amazed... But unfortunately, the Northern Lights did not show themselves.
My hesitation about a vacation to Lapland has always been about the price; I always thought that a trip there was just incredibly expensive. Now, life there is definitely expensive and hotels are not cheap, but flights are becoming increasingly affordable. Transavia is flying directly to Norwegian Lapland from this season and that is quite affordable, but now there are also incredibly cheap flights to Finnish Lapland (Rovaniemi) available with Ryanair. I would love to pack my bags today.
If you are familiar with Ryanair, you know that they do not depart from Schiphol, for example. But fortunately, there is much more than the Randstad, so the chances are certainly present that it is actually more favorable in terms of travel time. For example, there are return flights from Brussels to Finnish Lapland for less than 150 euros – if you leave on February 8 and return on February 13.
But it can be even cheaper: if you leave on February 15 and fly back on February 20, it is 86 euros. Sorry, but you can't let that pass, can you?! Seems to me like an ideal Valentine's gift. And if Brussels is a bit of a drive, then you can just add a day and a night in Brussels afterwards? This really sounds like the most fun trip of 2024 to me. All these tickets can be booked via SkyScanner; from Brussels Charleroi to Rovaniemi.
