Sleeping next to your dog is better than sleeping next to your partner

There has been a nice little study done that you can score with at parties and gatherings. At the Conisius College in Buffalo, Professor Christy Hoffman studied 962 women based on their sleeping companions. Some of the women slept with their partner, others with their dog, and some with their cat.
What turned out? People who sleep with their dog feel safer, lie more comfortably, wake up earlier, and go to bed earlier. Cats cause a ‘disruptive’ sleep. They do not adapt to you, but decide for themselves where to lie down and why. Just like most men, as her research shows.
We also wrote that sleeping separately is better for your sex life. So separate beds with a dog at your feet and your sleep and sex life are completely on point.
One downside to sleeping with the dog (aside from the hygiene aspect that I will leave out for now): the research showed that some dogs snored and kept their owners awake.
