THE GOOD INTENTIONS
of your editors
Yes people, intentions are incredibly easy to break, because who oh who has managed to stick to them for at least a few months? The first week of the yearsaving goes really well for me, but then I seriously need to recover from all the parties and celebrations of the past time, so I just don't feel like going shopping a lot. After that, I calmly book a restaurant again and bike past Skins Cosmetics for a bit. Not because I necessarily need something, but because I want to make my home cozy (always a good intention). And hop, there go two Diptyque candles and some Aesop hand soap pumps over the counter. And away goes the plan to save a bit in my life. But well, it comes with the territory and let's at least give those good intentions a chance and allow ourselves to at least try. I texted the other Amayzine girls about their goals, plans, ideas, and dreams for 2016 and this is what came out: May is going to start with a 'dry January' and she is doing it with me. That means no drop of alcohol. Boring indeed, but we can really do this. May will stop the regime a bit earlier because at the end of the month she is flying to South Africa for a press trip 'and there I am definitely going to drink wine.' Then there is still a
style department at Amayzine that is going to be worked on hard and May has the good intention to work from home for half a day once a week. Her dream wish is to live with family in New York for a year. In theory, that could work, as long as there is a laptop with wifi nearby. We move on to Liesbeth who answered me.
from a tropical island and reported that she wants to get her house in order. A nice workspace, all clothes sorted, and what is no longer worn out the door. A little lamp needs to be fixed and for the rest of the year she would like to leave everything super duper neat. Tidy house, tidy mind. She also really wants to go to Japan because she has never been there. Oh yes, and this is currently her biggest dream: to take the Trans-Siberian Express. Josselin's house is for sale, so it would be really nice if that gets sold and then the wish is to find a really nice new house of course. In between, the plan for 2016 includes no less than.
3 beautiful trips or city trips , which means making fewer to-do lists so that there is more time left for fun things. And lastly, and this makes me happy, to pull out the nice Adidas running outfit (which she got from me) and go for a jog. After all, the heath is Josselin's backyard, so I would know what to do. , And then we have Kiki who immediately blurted out a list to me. 'My agenda is a DISASTER,' she mentioned among other things, so it needs to be.
better maintained . Sounds familiar, I’ll add that to my own list. And also making more time for friends is on Kiki's wish list. Come on, I’ll just write that down too. 'Finally cooking a decent meal isn't really happening yet,' so I suggest that Lies and Kiki go to a course together and then they can immediately help each other quit smoking. Idea?.
