7 THINGS YOU ONLY KNOW IF YOU'RE A BLONDE GIRL

For about a year now, I can also join the world of blondes . I'm happy about it, really happy, but it also causes quite a few issues. My hair has suddenly gone from super smooth and shiny to a huge beachy look. So it's standard that it curls a bit and it looks like there's always some salt spray in my hair, clean or not. And my makeup has also been adjusted a bit, because I've filled in my eyebrows a bit more and the bronzing brush is always in my hand. I've put together a few things that you probably recognize if you're a blonde.

1. The dark eyebrow trend is a gift from heaven

Thin lines above the eyes or extremely bleached versions, that's just not for blondes. But Cara has shown that as a blonde girl, you can totally have extremely dark eyebrows, because they give some shape to your face. Finally, that adds a bit more character.

2. Purple shampoo is your lifesaver

Showering, swimming, hair products, and whatever else, it can all change your hair to a bit of an orange hue. What you definitely don't want. Luckily, there's the shampoo. Actually for gray hair, but for blondes, it works perfectly. You get a fresh color and the chance of orange is thankfully not there.

3. You spend hours at the hairdresser...

Blonde hair. Nice and beautiful, but if you don't have it naturally and want to achieve it, you really have to spend some hours in the hairdresser's chair . It's not just half an hour, you really have to take a lot of time for it. Good blonde hair just takes time.

4. ...And you spend quite a lot of money on it

Hours at the hairdresser, yes, you naturally pay quite a bit for that too. The blonder, the more time it takes and the more expensive it all becomes. You actually don't want to know. So try to forget it all as quickly as possible.

5. Blondes are thin. Always.

Most people with blonde hair also have extremely thin hair. Just think of Barbie, nice and all, beautiful blonde hair, but very wispy. The hair is sometimes in such a state that it's actually terrible and you're especially busy with hair masks, salt sprays, and who knows what else to make it look as thick as possible.

6. It's hard to dye your hair

Or actually, as a blonde, it's super easy to dye your hair. Only people don't think too well about the result. Colors often take well, that's not the problem. The only little problem is that your hair becomes so porous that it can break easily. And even if your hair seems incredibly clean, with naturally blonde hair, the brown strands often look a bit dirty. What a shame.

7. Going back to your natural color?

That's not going to happen. Blonde hair is so fragile that it just takes a long time to get your natural color back. Bleaching is not an option, because then you really won't have any hair left on your head. And the more often you dye it, the less strong your blonde strands become. Patience is the magic word. You need to have a lot of patience and stock up on a huge range of products for your hair to compensate.
