Okay, first things first: mark February 6 in your calendar. Netflix has announced that this is the date when the new season (number 3 already) of The Sinner will be released online, and that's definitely one you want to catch. Because The Sinner has been quite thrilling and quite addictive in the last two seasons — and season 3 has of course a new story, but also because the lead actor Matt Bomer is and he is also quite a sight for sore eyes. You might know him from Magic Mike, so you already get it. If you don't spend seven days a week in the gym, you definitely weren't cast for that movie.

But anyway, The Sinner then. I guess he keeps his clothes on a bit more here, and that's perfectly fine, because then I can focus a bit better on the story. And judging by the latest trailer, that's also necessary because there's a lot waiting for us again. They take a car accident, which at first glance seems quite simple. Seems yes, because the involved Jamie (Matt Bomer) seems to have some dark sides. The police are soon on his heels, and when an old childhood friend comes by with some stories from the past, things don't look so good for Jamie.

Funny that the concept of The Sinner actually remains the same, at first glance completely normal people, who suddenly are capable of terrible things. I personally find that an interesting plot as well, so I think it's great that they stick to that in season 3. And that trailer, yes... It just looks very exciting again.

By the way, Jessica Biel is still involved with The Sinner, but then behind the scenes as an executive producer. Bill Pullman as detective Harry Ambrose is indeed back for the third season in a row. Does that man never want to retire? After three such bizarre cases, I would take a break for a while. Especially since it seems that this third season is going to be even darker than the two before it. But hey, the darker, the better.
