New day, new week, so once again new news about Harry and Meghan.

It can't be true, can it? No, it certainly keeps people occupied. And especially on the other side of the water, because I think everyone in British tabloid land is working overtime. Every little thing Harry and Meghan do is documented, and if Queen Elizabeth wants to say something about it, the chaos is complete. On one hand, I understand that it is quite special for two royals to give up their titles — especially as popular as Harry and Meghan are, but pff… I totally get that these two are packing their bags and heading to Canada.

There isn't a single hair on Harry's ginger head that regrets that. He gave his first public speech since Megxit yesterday (I still think that name is really cool) and of course, he couldn't help but mention the current situation. He addressed the audience and said that the United Kingdom is his home and that will never change. He also says that he and Meghan had ‘no choice’ but to give up their titles. And it wasn't a light-hearted choice, he emphasizes, but one that was made after months of discussions.

Now it comes across to me (but that might also be due to the British tabloids influencing my perspective) that Meghan is really quite fine with it and would prefer that all of England forgets about her yesterday rather than today. Somewhere understandable, I find it annoying when one person says something nasty about me, let alone when an entire country turns against you and literally nothing you do is good enough for them. Adios, England, and goodbye forever if it’s up to Meghan, I believe. But for Harry, it’s clearly different: he would have preferred not to make this decision and just fulfill his royal duties as a full member of the family. Oh dear, I really feel sorry for Harry. And it's impressive that he still shows up and addresses this whole topic. I would probably have hidden in my cave and never come out. But yes, part of the job, right? At least for now.

And now off to Canada, without the financial support of the British royal family, although they will surely be doing just fine (they should be since it often gets to -10 there). I am quite curious if they, now that they are no longer royals, will become Hollywood stars instead? Because it seemed like that was a role Meghan was very good at. So maybe we will just see them every day on The Hollywood Reporter or TMZ. Let's hope not for them.
