1. Fake the smokey

Going overboard with your mascara is suddenly no longer a problem. In fact, do it a bit on purpose. If you smudge a bit over your lash line, you actually get a fuller effect and thus a nice smokey effect. It can be that easy.

2. Open the eyes

Tired eyes? There are all sorts of tricks for that. But an easy one is to rub a fresh color blush on your eyelid and take a bit along your brow bone. You immediately have a nice color.

Not so handy with eyeliner? You can really spend hours trying to fake the perfect cat-eye, but you can also just take the side of your credit card and draw a line exactly along it. No one needs to know how you managed that.

6. Bronzer

In winter, you might have to be a bit careful with bronzer, but it can actually spice things up a bit. Not only on your cheekbones, but also as eyeshadow and a bit on the lips.

7. Illuminator

This is a pretty handy product. You can use it as eyeshadow AND as highlighter.
