You probably think after three weeks that there are huge wedding butterflies fluttering around me, read this and this post but, it’s all not that bad really. I’m definitely up for a party, especially if it’s a party where there can be a lot of decoration. I’m actually really allergic to white doves, balloon arches and satin ribbons that huge bows are made with. It can be so much more fun, it can be so much more original. Now, a fair for inspiration sounds really silly, but I’ve managed to find three that you would want to go to even as a not-married person. Really, these fairs are the most fun, the coolest, and there’s really no balloon arch to be found. Just read.

Meijer’s Wedding Fair by the Sea

Why? Bare feet in the sand, looking out over the sea, a breeze through your hair, and an incredibly romantic atmosphere. Maybe not everyone immediately thinks of a wedding on the beach, but when this sounds like music to your ears, then you need to take a look at this wedding fair. Meijer’s Wedding Fair by the Sea is in Zandvoort (how could it be otherwise) and shows you all the possibilities for a perfect beach wedding. Once you’ve sniffed around here, you’ll also want to say your vows in the surf of the sea. And you can also combine this fair with a lovely day out on the beach, and let’s be honest: nothing is better than that.

Why? Are you a huge festival fan and would you love to see this reflected in your wedding? Then you can click here, but you definitely need to take a look at Trouwlala. You’ll find here everything from styling tips to entertainment, from culinary treats to organization and everything in between. Go to Trouwlala for inspiration, and if you’re really into a theme, cake, or invitation, you can just let the organizers of Trouwlala handle that part of your wedding. Or of course your entire wedding. You’ll definitely be busy all day here, and afterwards, you’ll also receive a nice goodie bag.

Why? When you look at the photos from the previous edition, you actually want to get married this week. You’ll find more than enough inspiration here. But that’s not all. Engaged has everything you could wish for in terms of weddings, such as fashion, food, photography, but also styling, music, and much more. And what makes Engaged especially special is that they offer workshops. You can participate in a Modern Calligraphy workshop, so you can customize your invitations or a Wedding Styling workshop, where you learn what is essential in styling your wedding day, but then in the theme that you like. All in all, it’s definitely worth it. Shall I see you there?
